Rising London star Gretchin has revealed their latest single, ‘19’. Written alongside their brother, ‘19’ has become a very personal track and a mission statement for their new EP. It lays out how it feels to be stuck in time while progressing into adulthood. Musically, it retains an effortless sense of catchiness, layered over warm textures. “This song was definitely the most fun we’ve had when it came to writing and recording,” they explain. “Being in your 20s is such a confusing time, some of your friends have babies and mortgages, meanwhile you feel like a giant baby.” Gretchin has unveiled their debut EP, When I Was 19, which is out now via The Den Music.
